Blackpool have made four changes to their side that featured in their last match, the 2-0 defeat to AFC Wimbledon.
Will Aimson drops to the bench in place of Curtis Tilt, who returns from a two-match suspension to partner Clark Robertson in defence.
Colin Daniel and Dan Agyei also drop to the bench, with Callum Cooke and Nathan Delfouneso coming into the starting XI.
Sessi D'Almeida also makes way and is out of the squad altogether. Viv Solomon-Otabor is the man to take his place in the side.
Elsewhere, Mark Cullen and Jim McAlister remain out with injuries.
This will be Blackpool's first appearance since January 20, when they lost 2-0 at the Kingsmeadow to fellow relegation strugglers AFC Wimbledon.
Their match last weekend against Charlton Athletic was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
The Gigg Lane surface appears to be in a worse state than Bloomfield Road last weekend, but referee Jeremy Simpson appears satisfied and is happy to go ahead with the game.
Today's opponents Bury are rooted to the bottom of the League One table having won just five games all season.
Former Pool players Peter Clarke and Neil Danns line up for the Shakers.
Blackpool, meanwhile, have won just two of their last 13 games.
A minute's applause is due to take place prior to kick off to pay tribute to Blackpool legend Jimmy Armfield.
