Gary Bowyer has brought Jay Spearing and Sessi D'Almeida into his Blackpool line-up for today's visit to Oxford United.

Spearing, who was a substitute in Blackpool's 2-1 win against Rochdale, replaces Jimmy Ryan in the centre of midfield while Callum Cooke drops to the bench in favour of D'Almeida.

Christoffer Mafoumbi keeps his place in goal after making his league debut at Spotland.

Blackpool head into the game searching for their first back-to-back wins since September.

The last time they achieved that feat, Oxford were also the opponents as they were dispatched 3-1 at Bloomfield Road.

The Seasiders picked up their first win in nine attempts on New Year's Day when they saw off Rochdale 2-1 at Spotland.

Oxford, meanwhile, also started the year with a win as they beat MK Dons 3-1 at home.
