The defender has been left out of Blackpool's squad for their last two games but starts in the centre of defence against his hometown club.

He will partner Ben Heneghan in defence, with Paudie O'Connor dropping to the bench.

He is the only change to Pool's side from last Saturday's 1-1 draw against Accrington Stanley, although it's six changes from Tuesday's League Cup win at Doncaster Rovers.

Callum Guy, who signed from Derby County yesterday, is not included as his signing came after the 12pm registration deadline.

Jimmy Ryan, Ryan McLaughlin, Joe Bunney and Donervon Daniels miss out again through injury.
