Blackpool will be handed a huge boost for the trip to Ipswich with the return of three first team players.
Ricardo Fuller, Neal Bishop and Isaiah Osbourne have all made the long journey to Suffolk today after training this week.
And boss Barry Ferguson hailed the return of striker Fuller as massive, on and off the field.
“Ricardo isn’t match fit, but he’ll be in the squad,” said the boss.
“He’s a big character and someone we’ve missed in the dressing room.
“I asked him to come into the dressing room before the Nottingham Forest game as it’s important to have characters like him around the place.
“It’s great to have Ricardo back.
“We also have Bish and big Ossie back now too.
“There’s a lot of competition and it’s exciting for me.
“It gives me a headache, but I’m not scared of making decisions.”
The options give Ferguson real options and a fully fit squad for the first time during his spell as boss.
It means he’ll have to make some big decisions in his selection, something he seems delighted about.
He said: “It’s a boost that everyone’s coming back.
“It gives me a headache as I have a lot of competition, but that’s what I want.
“The lads have to go and show me through the week that they should be in my starting eleven.
“The standard has been excellent.
“We have a right good squad now, we have a lot of competition now.
“There are places up for grabs now all over the squad.”
