Nile Ranger’s Blackpool career looks to be over.

The striker claimed he was turned away from Bloomfield Road after finally turning up for training.

The Gazette reported yesterday that the 24-year-old, who had been AWOL for eight months, finally showed up on Tuesday after talks with manager Neil McDonald.

But the controversial Rangers stated on social media last night that he was instantly told to leave.

He wrote: “How can I be told to report for training ,then be told by the manager to get back in my car and drive to London. Shambles .”

Ranger added that he would be seeking help from the players’ union, the PFA.

As ever, and despite recently announcing Ranger would return after positive talks with McDonald, Blackpool FC are remaining silent on the matter.
