Blackpool have turned to Preston for help in fighting relegation from League One.
The Seasiders have signed North End striker Andy Little on loan until the new year as boss Neil McDonald looked to add quality to his squad.
The 26-year-old, capped eight times for Northern Ireland, moved to Deepdale last season after firing 34 goals in 48 appearances for Rangers in Scotland.
But things haven’t quiet worked out for Little as yet in England, and he hopes a Bloomfield Road switch will kick-start his career in England.
“I’ve had a frustrating season so far, being fit and champing at the bit,” he said.
“Hopefully this gives me an opportunity to come and help the boys out and make our way up the table,” said Little.
“I’ve enjoyed meeting the lads today and my first session went really well.
