A host of former Blackpool stars will lace-up the boots again on Sunday in aid of Gary Parkinson.
The former Pool coach has been suffering from Locked-in syndrome since having a stroke during his time at Bloomfield Road back in 2010.
A number of events have been held over the years to raise money for the popular former defender, with this weekend’s the latest.
The likes of Richie Wellens, Scotty Taylor, Peter Clarke, Keigan Parker, Phil Clarkson and Danny Coid are set to return to action at AFC Blackpool’s ground on Sunday.
Organiser Ryan Smith said: “We are delighted to see lots of former faces coming out for such a good cause.
“I hope as many Blackpool fans as possible can get down on the day.”
Entry will be by donation at the door and kick-off this Sunday is at 2pm.
