THE Seasiders are again being strongly linked with a move for the Dundee United striker David Goodwillie but Championship rivals Cardiff are favourites to sign the Scot.

The SPL club are believed to want £2m for the 22-year-old, who is also on the radar of Nottingham Forest and Rangers.

He scored 19 goals for the Tannadice club last season and was on target in a friendly win over Drogheda FC in Ireland yesterday.

Goodwillie, who played for Scotland at all youth levels and made his senior international debut in a friendly against the Faroes last year, has been linked with Bloomfield Road in previous windows.
