SEASIDERS target El-Hadji Diouf is now training with Wigan.
Holloway tried to sign the controversial striker, released by Blackburn in the summer after a row with Steve Kean, but a meeting was called off at the last minute, when Diouf’s agent told Holloway the frontman was bound for Greece.
A fortnight on, the 30-year-old is still without a club and Holloway refused to rule out going back in for Diouf.
Former Seasiders keeper Richard Kingson is also understood to be training with Wigan, where he spent two seasons before moving to Bloomfield Road. Kingson has been without a club since being released by Pool following their relegation from the Premier League.
