Out-of-favour Blackpool defender Andre Blackman has been handed a shock opportunity to earn a Premier League deal.
The 24-year-old is having a trial at QPR and played over an hour in a reserve game on Tuesday.
The Londoner signed a one-year Pool deal in September and made his only appearances to date in Lee Clark’s first three games as manager in early November.
He hasn’t featured since being taken off just 17 minutes into the 3-1 defeat at Leeds.
Blackman has been made available for transfer as Clark looks to add yet more new recruits this month, and he now has the chance to impress Loftus Road boss Harry Redknapp.
Pool striker Francois Zoko is in talks over extending his loan deal with Bradford until the end of the season.
Zoko is yet to score in nine appearances for the Bantams but it’s believed manager Phil Parkinson is keen to keep him.
Meanwhile, Pool’s trip to Birmingham City has been put back 24 hours to Wednesday March 4 (7.45pm) on police advice.
Police in the Midlands were anxious to avoid a clash with the Premier League fixture between Aston Villa and West Brom on the Tuesday evening.
