Blackpool have blocked another bid by Sheffield United for Steven Davies.
The striker is back training after a series of injuries have restricted him to just two substitute appearances this season.
After seeing a £200,000 bid knocked back by chairman Karl Oyston in August, the League One club again came in for the 26-year-old last week with a view to a loan move.
Blades boss Nigel Clough said: “It’s something we might well revisit at a later date.
“We talked to them and agreed to everything they wanted, but in the end they decided it wouldn’t be happening. You can never say never.”
