THE Seasiders players are still waiting anxiously on confirmation about their wages for next season.
Chairman Karl Oyston has made it clear that everyone faces a 50 per cent pay cut next season following relegation.
However, Holloway told the players he would try to fight this.
Ian Evatt is among the senior stars waiting on developments. He said: “There has been a lot of speculation about what will happen, but we’ve not really heard anything yet.
“It is down to the chairman to approach the boys and come up with something.
“At the moment, we are just in holiday mode really. But fingers crossed we can get stuff sorted sooner rather than later, because in years gone by we’ve left things till the last minute, and it hasn’t been great.
“Hopefully, this year that won’t happen, and we will get things sorted for pre-season and all start again afresh.”
