Produced a number of smart stops to keep Blackpool in it before they embarked on their inspired comeback.

Netted his first goal for Blackpool to get his side back on level terms. Defended well at right back and is a threat in the opposition box.

Curtis Tilt - 8

Won every header and dominated in the tackle in what was his first game of the season following the summer speculation.

Put in a defensively solid display at left back against a dangerous Barnsley attack while also providing plenty of support going forwards.

Jay Spearing - 7

Marshalled the midfield as you come to expect from the experienced Pool skipper. Played a couple of incisive passes in the final third.
