Blackpool are set for a busy day of transfer activity on Friday with three players set to put pen to paper at the club.

Boss Lee Clark has revealed Jamie O’Hara will sign a contract extension until the end of the season tomorrow, with two further players undergoing medicals with the club this evening.

They come on the back of the arrival of Tottenham Hotspur defender Grant Hall who has joined the club on loan until the end of the season.

Clark is delighted progress is being made, particuarly in the case of O’Hara.

“It is really positive that Jamie will be signing for us, which is great news,” he said.

“He contacted me today to say he was happy to accept our offer and I am absolutely delighted.”

Defender Hall will go straight into the side to face Millwall tomorrow after seeing his loan spell with Birmingham cancelled early this week.

The 23-year-old who spent last season on loan at Swindon Town, made seven appearances during his spell with The Blues.

“He’s a terrific young pro, a centre-half with pace who is comfortable on the ball,” Clark said.

“He’s thought of highly at Spurs and when I heard that he wasn’t staying with Birmingham on loan I made a move to bring him in.

“It was important that we did because we’ve lost Donervon Daniels, so hopefully we’ll see the best of Grant playing for Blackpool in the second half of the season.”
