Darren O’Dea has signed a new contract with Blackpool which will see him stay until the end of the season.
The Irish defender, 27, put pen to paper on a deal after talks with Pool chairman Karl Oyston this week.
He initially arrived on a short-term deal and has since made four appearances for the club, starting three.
Responding to the news on Twitter, O’Dea said: “I’m delighted to sign until the end of the season. I’ve enjoyed my time so far and I’m now looking forward to a massive challenge ahead.”
