In previous years, semi-final clashes have often been televised on ITV4.

In 2017, the semi-final between Tottenham and Chelsea was aired live as well as Chelsea's final win against Manchester City.

While the first leg of Blackpool's tie on Tuesday was not televised, it was hoped ITV4 would air the return game at the Emirates Stadium.

The fixture takes place on Monday, April 16.

But ITV have now dashed those hopes, with a spokesperson telling The Gazette: "Unfortunately we do not have any plans to broadcast any of the FA Youth Cup semi-finals this season.

"Sorry to disappoint on this occasion."

The young Seasiders came from behind on Tuesday night to draw 2-2 with Arsenal. It means they head to the Emirates for next month’s decider with everything to play for.

Admission for the second leg is priced at £4 for adults and £2 for concessions.

Chelsea take on Birmingham City in the other semi-final. The first leg takes place at St Andrew's on Wednesday, April 4.
