Nile Ranger has told Blackpool he will return to training in two weeks time.
The striker hasn’t turned up for training since the start of November last year following a row over his wages at Bloomfield Road.
After blasting his Blackpool contract as ‘a joke’ supporters were stunned when Pool activated an option to tie him to the club for another 12 months. He failed to arrive with the rest of his squad as pre-season began on Monday, but after talks with boss Neil McDonald has now pledged to return.
The Blackpool boss said: “Nile’s agreed to return to the club in a couple of weeks, he’s doing a bit of pre-season himself and I’m very comfortable with that.
“For the time being I’ll be concentrating on the players who are here.”
