Newcastle United midfielder Dan Gosling has joined Blackpool on loan until January 1.
The 23-year-old linked up with the squad this morning to train ahead of the trip to London this afternoon.
He made his name by scoring a late winner for Everton against rivals Liverpool in 2009 before joining Newcastle the following year.
Gosling is described as a box-to-box midfielder who likes to join in the attack and will strengthen a midfield which is missing skipper Barry Ferguson.
After struggling to break into the side at Newcastle, he almost joined Ian Hollway’s Crystal Palace in the summer.
Despite only appearing twice for the Toon this season, both in the League Cup, he will go straight into the squad for Blackpool’s game against Charlton tomorrow.
