Blackpool’s season took yet another bizarre turn on Saturday, when they had no kitman and so the club secretary stepped in.
Since the departure of long-term kitman Steve Wales to Preston North End last summer, former youth team physio Alan Bent has been filling the gap.
But the vastly experienced Bent quit the club last week to take up a full-time career in education.
It left the Seasiders with no kitman for the trip to Bournemouth, where secretary Chris Hough stepped into the breach.
Manager Lee Clark said: “That’s something we’re looking into and trying to address. It’s not ideal.
“That’s why I want the season to end – so I can address these things and everything can be put in place.
“Lots of things have to be changed at this football club.”
