CHARLIE Adam has seen a specialist in a bid to get to the bottom of a mystery internal injury.
The Seasiders skipper has a stomach problem that flares up after games and is causing concern.
The Scot is suspended for Blackpool’s next two matches after picking up a late booking against Tottenham, his tenth of the season.
Ian Holloway has decided to use the time out to investigate the matter and ensure Adam does not miss any more matches as the Seasiders attempt to steer clear of the drop.
He said: “I don’t want to talk about it. We want to sort it out.”
Adam will miss tomorrow’s clash with Wolves and the home TV date with champions Chelsea on Monday week.
After that, Pool have almost a fortnight off before visiting Blackburn and it is hoped Adam will be fully fit and raring to go by then.
