Here's how Pool's players rated:

Had a quiet afternoon but made some impressive stops in the final stages. Dominant from crosses again other than one mishap.
Produced another composed display on the right hand side of Blackpools back three. Looked unflustered throughout.

Dominant for a second week running in the centre of Pools back three. Looks to be a brilliant summer recruit.
Commanding at the back once again and dealt with whatever was thrown at him with relative ease. Went close at the other end.
Enjoyed plenty of attacking joy down the right-hand flank playing at wing back, delivering some superb crosses.
Was having a steady game until the moment he needlessly rushed into a dreadful challenge he didnt have to make.
Tidied up in the centre of the park and clattered into some crunching tackles to keep the hosts at bay.
Southend struggled to deal with his inswinging corners and set pieces. Kept the ball ticking over well.
Terrified Southends backline every time he picked up the ball and appears to have an almost telepathic understanding with Delfouneso.
Showed a ruthless touch in front of goal, producing a clinical finish for his first and an opportunistic tap-on from the scramble for the second.
Led the line and linked up well with the two men behind him, but his temperment let him down leading to him being subbed.
