Gave Pool the lead with an emphatic header early on. Looked assured all evening and did everything with minimal fuss.
Didnt put a foot wrong on the left-hand side of Pools back three. Did what was required to keep Morecambe at bay.
Another hugely impressive display during his 45-minute cameo, adding another two assists to his seasons tally.
Showed good quality from set pieces throughout while always looking accomplished on the ball. Will provide good competition for James Husband.
A little rusty at times but the midfielder broke forward well and kept the ball moving on his first start of the season.
Produced a display full of energy and commitment. So unfortunate not to score after somehow managing to hit both posts.
Showed glimpses of what hes capable of and grew into the game as it wore on. Minutes will do him good.
Showed impressive link-up play and took his first goal in tangerine colours in clinical fashion. Came close with a couple of other efforts.
Also bagged his first goal for the club with a late long-range effort. Needs to simplify things but has plenty of potential.
For Feeney, 46 Ran the show in the centre of midfield in the final stages after moving across from wing-back.
For Virtue, 65 Impressive cameo at right wing-back on his senior debut for the Seasiders. Didnt look out of place at all.
For Scannell, 77 Looked desperate for a goal as soon as he came on pitch and got it with a well-taken finish. Wowed the crowd with his skill.
