Young Blackpool forward Tom Barkhuizen wants to stay at Hereford for the rest of the season.
Barkhuizen, 18, has scored seven goals for the League Two club since signing on loan in August.
Following Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Plymouth Argyle on Saturday, when Barkhuizen again scored, he said: “I’ve told Blackpool that I don’t want to come back to sit in the reserves.
“We’ve got that big a squad I might not even get in the reserves.
“I’ll probably ring them, and they’ll tell me that I’ve got a meeting with the gaffer at Blackpool and the assistant.
“They’ll listen to what I’ve got to say and they’ll tell me what they think.
“I haven’t got a clue what is happening at the moment, but if it means I’m staying here then I’m happy to stay, keep playing, and try to get us up the table.”
