Blackpool have signed Liverpool defender Jack Robinson on a season-long loan, and more could follow.
Manager Paul Ince is desperate to add to his depleted squad, and will have been boosted by the 19-year-old’s addition.
Robinson, who played alongside Tom Ince for England’s U21s in the European Championships this summer, is highly rated and has made 10 first team appearances at Anfield so far.
He spent the end of last season at Wolves on loan, and will go straight into the squad to face Doncaster tomorrow.
And boss Paul Ince hinted there could be more to come.
“Me and the chairman are still trying to bring people in,” said Ince.
“Hopefully we’ll bring one or two in today, but we are still quite far away.”
The Blackpool boss talked about Bolton duo Matt Mills and Keith Andrews.
Ince isn’t one to usually talk openly about targets, but he hinted he’d be interested in the Wanderers duo, should something be able to sorted with their wages.
The Blackpool boss said: “Matt Mills and Keith Andrews area good players.
“But they are on a lot of money, Bolton pay big, big wages.
“We’ll see what the two chairman can do.”
