  • Josh Bowler to stay despite Forest and Bournemouth interest
  • Failed bids for Cameron Brannagan and Ollie Norburn
  • Bez Lubala completes loan move to Northampton, Joe Nuttall joins Scunthorpe

9.15pm: State of play

What happens from here on in appears to depend largely on Josh Bowler and his proposed move to the City Ground.

If it goes through, and that’s not guaranteed, then Morgan Rogers is likely to come in as his replacement. Then will Pool look to finalise a last-gasp deal for a midfielder? We’ll have to wait and see.

9pm: Morgan Rogers update

Blackpool are the favourites to land Morgan Rogers, but a deal depends on whether Josh Bowler leaves to join Nottingham Forest.

Scottish side Hibs were interested in a loan for the Man City man, but it’s understood the 19-year-old would rather remain in the Championship.

Huddersfield Town have also shown interest, but it’s understood the Seasiders are leading the race.

8.35pm: Bournemouth side wide man from Posh

Siriki Dembele leaves Peterborough to join Bournemouth.

One would assume this means Forest are now on their own in the hunt for Josh Bowler. One wonders what it means for Morgan Rogers, too...

8.30pm: Latest state of play

With two-and-a-half hours to go until the window shuts, here’s where we stand:

- Ollie Norburn’s move from Peterborough now looks to be off

- Bournemouth and Forest battling it out for Josh Bowler, fee rumoured to be £2.5m

- Still no news on whether Blackpool’s latest bid for Cameron Brannagan has been accepted or rejected by Oxford

- Morgan Rogers could remain at Bournemouth after all

- Scunthorpe still trying to get a deal for Joe Nuttall over the line

8.20pm: Ollie Norburn update

Sources in Peterborough appear to have confirmed Blackpool’s bid for Ollie Norburn has been rejected.

Replying to a fan on Twitter (as he likes to do), chairman Darragh MacAnthony writes: “Apologies for only signing 6 players & keeping all players our manager wanted to keep.. Doing our best bud in trying circumstances.”
