Blackpool 0-0 Oxford United: CJ Hamilton frustrated by the woodwork as Seasiders...

“It would have been a smash and grab," Robinson told the Oxford Mail.

“They have so many good players at the top end of the pitch.

“We had to be a bit different and I thought we looked more solid as the game went on. I don’t think we were massively under the cosh, I thought we finished stronger than the opposition.

“While we were looking okay going forward and getting criticised for our back four, I kept saying we will get there. We seem to have shored that up, but we’ve become less of a potent threat at the top of the pitch.

“At this level you can’t have that perfect balance of that wonderful, attacking free-flowing football but that solid unit as well. To have three draws against three high-level teams is not bad.

"I’m not saying it’s good, don’t think I’m accepting a point, but it’s better than what it might have been."
