Pool winger Tom Ince is in Milan for talks with Italian giants Inter.

The 22-year-old has been accompanied by his father Paul, the former Seasiders manager who played for Inter Milan in the 1990s.

Ince junior said: “I’m not an Inter player yet. I’m very happy to be here for two or three days.

“Inter is a fantastic squad and Italy is a great country, which I have many fond memories of.

“I remember the San Siro with affection – players like (Javier) Zanetti, (Massimo) Paganin and (Aron) Winter. It’s marvellous to be here at 22.”

Ince, who spent the second half of the season on loan at Crystal Palace, is out of contract at Pool.

Defender Craig Cathcart, also out of contract, is a target for Huddersfield.
