Blackpool’s Tom Ince could be banned for two games after being accused of an indecent gesture during Monday’s League Cup tie at Preston North End.

A spokesman for the Football Association said: “Blackpool’s Thomas Ince has been charged by The FA in relation to an on-field incident which was not seen by the match officials but caught on video.

“It is alleged that Ince made an offensive and/or insulting and/or abusive gesture towards a match official in the 24th minute of his side’s Capital One Cup match at Preston North End on Monday 5 August.

“The player has until 6pm on August 8.”

If found guilty, he could be banned for two games.
