Ian Holloway has revealed he intends to talk to Karl Oyston about the vacant Blackpool job.

The Seasiders are searching for a new manager this morning after the resignation of Lee Clark over the weekend.

With the club in a total mess, chairman Oyston could be set to turn to one of the most popular managers in the club’s history to turn things back around.

And speaking this morning, Holloway revealed he will speak to Oyston about the job but would only consider the role if given major assurances.

“If I don’t think I’m the right man I will tell the owner that,” he said speaking to Sky Sports News.

“I want to get back into work. People are still talking about why I might have l left.

“I want to build something that means something to the fans and if that’s not the case then I won’t consider doing it.

“Who would have thought the supporters could be that upset at the demise? For me it is about having a chance to make something better and to improve it it and if that not case I won’t even try.

“I want to be proud of that I do and at the moment I don’t feel proud of what has happened up there.”
