Blackpool duo Tom Ince and Jack Robinson have been rubbing shoulders with England’s elite on international duty this week.
The pair are set to be involved in England’s European Under-21 Championship qualifier in San Marino tonight.
While training at the FA’s St George’s Park in Staffordshire, the U21s have also been joining in with the senior England squad.
And England boss Roy Hodgson has even stepped in to take training sessions with the Blackpool pair.
U21 coach Gareth Southgate explained: “Sometimes Roy takes them for training – that’s one of the beauties here.
“We’re in the same hotel. That’s a great experience for them, and whoever Roy needs can join them for training.”
Tonight’s game will be Ince’s ninth for England, while Robinson aims to pull on a Three Lions shirt for the seventh time.
Young Blackpool keeper Chris Kettings, currently on loan at York City, is set to be on the bench for Scotland U21 against Slovakia tonight.
