LIVERPOOL legend Robbie Fowler looks set to join The Seasiders.
The 36-year-old took part in training ahead of Friday’s game against Hull City at their Squires Gate base.
And Blackpool boss Ian Holloway revealed that he intends to offer the striker a deal:
“It’s brilliant to have someone like Robbie at the club,” he said.
“He looked terrific in training and I don’t think he’s that far away from being fully fit.”
Fowler won’t be involved in Friday night’s game as he wasn’t registered before Thursday’s Noon cut-off point.
However, the club intend to complete his signing in the next couple of days.
Gary Taylor-Fletcher, a huge Liverpool fan, revealed the news on Twitter.
“Training was a bit religious today. The sun was shining an GOD (Robbie Fowler) came to train with us for a few days. #LEGEND”.
Fowler is the Premier League’s fourth all time goal scorer with 163 goals.
He left Cardiff in 2008 and has since played in Australia and Thailand.
