The 33-year-old joined the Bantams in November while former Blackpool boss Gary Bowyer was still in charge.

Bowyer was sacked in February after just 11 months in the Valley Parade hotseat and was replaced by Stuart McCall.

Taylor made 15 appearances for the Bantams.

"The club would like to take this opportunity to thank Taylor for his efforts and services this season," Bradford said in a statement.

Taylor was one of a handful of former Blackpool players to join Bowyer at Bradford alongside the likes of Paudie O'Connor, Kelvin Mellor, Harry Pritchard and Callum Cooke.

Taylor signed for Blackpool in the summer of 2018, making 18 appearances during his one season with the club.

The former Bolton Wanderers man had previously played under Bowyer at Blackburn Rovers.
