CAPTAIN Barry Ferguson has called on his Pool team-mates to be more ruthless.

Pool have dominated their Championship games against Crystal Palace, Coventry and Portsmouth for long spells without winning any of them.

And the skipper says that is something they need to address.

“I don’t think I’ve ever played in a side that has been so dominant but has failed to capitalise on that,” said Ferguson.

“The key for us is getting that second goal because that puts us in control.

“At times we’ve given sides the chance to get back into the game.

“Maybe we’ve taken our foot off the gas a little bit, which you should never do.”
