Lee Clark has sent a warning to his players - if you aren’t willing to fight, don’t come to Blackburn.
Pool face ninth placed Rovers this afternoon in another game which could be placed into the must win category.
After Wigan’s win against Reading in midweek and Rotherham picking up a point, Pool’s position is looking even more daunting at the bottom of the table.
And he gave anyone who isn’t motivated the chance to stay at home today.
“If you’re not prepared to fight, don’t get on the bus to Blackburn,” blasted Clark.
“If I have to go into the youth team for players who have desire for the club then I’ll do that.”
Gary Bowyer’s Rovers have won their last three home games, the latest being a 4-1 FA Cup hammering of Premier League side Stoke City.
And their quality will come as no surprise to Clark.
He said: “Blackburn are playing with a lot of confidence. In their last game they put a Premier League side to the sword in some fashion.
“They’ve followed that up with a good point at Cardiff on Tuesday so we know it is not going to be easy.
“We have to be harder to beat than we have in recent away games.”
