Lee Clark has been named as Blackpool’s new manager.
After three days of talks the 42-year-old finally arrived at Bloomfield Road last night to complete a deal.
Clark was approached on Monday by chairman Karl Oyston and instantly offered the job after successful talks between the pair.
After initial wages were agreed, Oyston spent two days going through contractual small print before the former Birmingham man finally agreed a deal last night.
He will meet his new players this morning before being unveiled to the media early this afternoon.
Clark is expected to bring at least two members of staff with Steve Watson and former Celtic winger Alan Thompson top of his wishlist.
Both worked with Clark at Birmingham before being fired last week following the manager’s departure from St Andrews.
