Blackpool are set to come to Carlisle’s rescue by hosting their FA Cup third round tie against Yeovil Town next month.
The League Two side’s Brunton Park pitch is currently out of action after heavy floods caused havoc in Cumbria almost two weeks ago.

The game will take place on Sunday, January 10, with a 2pm kick-off, Blackpool face Port Vale at Bloomfield Road just 24 hours earlier.
While both clubs are currently remaining silent on the matter, The Gazette understands a meeting took place today where details were agreed.
