Key Events

  • FT: Blackpool 1-0 Barnsley
  • Seasiders bidding to make it back-to-back wins

Gary Madine enters the fray in place of Tyreece John-Jules, who is given a healthy ovation from the Blackpool faithful.

Marvin Ekpiteta does well to beat the dangerous Aaron Leya Iseka to the ball, although he does concede a corner.

A long ball over the top of the Pool backline appears to be heading towards Cauley Woodrow, but Chris Maxwell is off his line quickly to head clear outside his box.

Maxi is then fouled, giving Pool a free-kick.

Pool have just dropped a little deeper in the last few moments, but thankfully they’ve not been punished by a Barnsley side that continue to concede possession.

The pair of them have been fantastic so far.

Keshi Anderson ignores the options either side of him to shoot from range, but his effort is comfortably wide. Bit selfish there from Keshi, who had a superb first-half.

Callum Styles, who has looked like one of Barnsley’s rare threats this afternoon, tries his luck from 30 yards. It has Chris Maxwell scrambling, but his ambitious effort dips a yard or two over the bar.

We’re back underway

Kenny Dougall gets the game back underway.

Barnsley made one change at the break, introducing Clarke Oduor for Dominik Frieser. I have to be honest, I don’t remember even seeing Frieser during the first-half...
