Liverpool youngster Lloyd Jones has joined Blackpool on a season-long youth loan.
The defender, 19, is captain of the Premier League club’s Under-21 side and has previously spent time out on loan with Cheltenham Town and Accrington Stanley.
He made eleven appearances for Stanley at the end of last season and was handed a first team squad number this summer by first team boss Brendan Rodgers.
It’s believed Liverpool now want to test him at League One level as he steps-up his development.
The England Under-20 international will make his debut at Lancaster in a pre-season friendly tomorrow.
