The defender arrives at Bloomfield Road as a direct replacement for Curtis Tilt, who has departed for Rotherham United.

The 22-year-old, who has made 24 appearances for Lee Johnson’s side this season, won’t be available for tomorrow’s trip to Oxford United as he hasn’t been registered in time.

Manager Simon Grayson said: “When we knew that Curtis Tilt could be leaving and heard that Taylor Moore was available, we quickly moved to bring him in.

"He’s played a lot of games in the Championship this season and offers great versatility across the back four.

"He’s a really good signing for us.”

Having started his senior career with French club Lens, Moore made the move to Ashton Gate in 2016.

In fact, the defender played against the Seasiders for Southend last season, scoring the unfortunate stoppage-time own goal in the 2-2 draw in March 2019 - the game that was dubbed the ‘homecoming clash’.

Moore’s signing means 11 of Blackpool’s 12 new arrivals this month have come from a higher division.
