All lectures, seminars and tutorials are delivered from Blackpool as part of a supportive environment that offers a bespoke learning experience.

Alongside the academic elements of the courses, students will complete a range of volunteering opportunities.

They are given the opportunity to coach alongside Community Trust coaches, Blackpool FC Academy coaches and external partners, providing hands-on experience and opportunities to develop the techniques taught in class.

Following the completion of either foundation degree, a third year is available for a BSc Honours top-up.

Degree student Brad Bayliss said: “After continuous volunteering I am now confident enough to have control of my own pitch and referee Walking Football, which has given me the opportunity of some paid work.

“I want to thank Dave Marsland and all the staff at Blackpool Football Club Community Trust, who have believed in me and given me the opportunity to be part of a fantastic team.”
