Neal Bishop stepped up his return from injury by playing 90 minutes yesterday.
The Blackpool midfielder has missed four games since injuring his hamstring in last month’s defeat at Barnsley.
But he played alongside Michael Chopra and Nathan Tyson in a Blackpool XI which drew 3-3 draw with Rochdale at Squires Gate.
Bishop, 32, came through the game fine and will now go into contention for Saturday’s trip to Ipswich.
Yesterday’s match, watched by boss Barry Ferguson at a windswept training ground, was a lively affair featuring first team fringe players and youth team prospects.
Tyson carried on from his two goals in last week’s practice match against the youth team by scoring another brace, while Chopra netted with a clinical finish before limping off with a knock.
American Freddy Adu once again played for the Seasiders, hoping to earn a contract, but was quiet before being replaced at half-time.
Youth team starlets Mark Waddington and Harrison McGahey impressed.
