JOHN Hills reckons becoming Blackpool’s head of youth is another step up the coaching ladder.
The former left-back said: “I’ve been doing a lot of coaching over the last few years.
“I’ve been coaching kids at grassroots level. I coached the youth team at Fleetwood Town and their under-16s.
“I’m a Blackpool fan and Ican’t wait to start in this position. It’s another step up the ladder for me.”
Hills, 33, has played for AFC Fylde as well as Fleetwood since being released by the Seasiders.
And he is looking forward to tonight’s visit to Sheffield Wednesday more than most – he used to play for the Owls.
