A delighted Neil Critchley gives his verdict on Blackpool's dramatic victory aga...

CJ Hamilton's 93rd-minute strike handed the Seasiders a thoroughly deserved three points to hand Neil Critchley's side their fifth win from their last seven league games.

Hull had earlier led courtesy of Mallik Wilks' strike, only to be pegged back by Jerry Yates' close-range strike before the interval.

Pool edged their noses in front through Keshi Anderson in the second period, but Hull thought they had snatched a point in the 89th-minute when Reece Burke headed home from a corner.

The drama didn't end there though, with Hamilton drilling home a dramatic late winner for Blackpool.

"I think the game management from us was dreadful," McCann said.

"We were quite comfortable in the first-half. We obviously knew their threat was to get CJ Hamilton and Sullay Kaikai in behind us in transition, but we were dealing with it very well.

"We score a really good goal. It's a great ball from Callum (Elder) and a great finish from Mallik (Wilks).

"Then for us to concede when we conceded, we just switched off for a second. We don't mark in the box and we concede right on half-time.

"We had to address that at half-time, we had to tell the boys to do their jobs, stay with your runners and make sure you pick people up in the box.

"We started the second-half quite brightly, I thought James Scott should have scored with his opportunity.

"But for their second goal, the keeper bangs the ball down the pitch, we're not set and it's a really poor goal to concede.

"It's a good response, we come back again and Reece (Burke) has equalised. But the last goal, we didn't clear our lines, we didn't get the ball away. We looked a bit panicky and a bit shaky.

"I'm sure they will say it's a good goal, but for us it's poor defending as a team.

"We've prided ourselves on our defensive performances this season, we've been really resolute and teams don't find it easy to score against us. But all three goals are very soft."
