Foxhall's Under-13s extended their lead at the top of the Gold Bond Blackpool and District Youth Football League Alpha Division with a stunning 5-2 win against Squires Gate.

Foxhall secured the win courtesy of goals from Dylan Henshall, Aiden Wright, Kaiden Shorrocks, Harry Melia and Bradley Norman. Gate’s replies came from Daniel Fryer and Jack Walker.

In the Silver Division, Filip Czarnecki scored the only goal of the game as leaders Layton won 1-0 at Foxhall Hoops.

Meanwhile Prince Yelegon grabbed a brace to help Thornton Cleveleys Whites win 3-0 at FC Rangers to stay second. Adam Meadows scored the other from the spot.

Dominic Turner scored four as Kirkham Reds won 11-1 at Lytham Blues. Jacob Evans, Brett Higginson, Alfie Renshaw, Jack Iddeson, Brandon Perez-Berna, Matthew Nixon and an own goal completed the scoring, while Erik Zogo replied.

Kallum Illingworth scored a brace for Lytham Maroons but it wasn’t enough as goals from James Coulter, Harley Man, Jake Wilson, Luke Roper and Harvey Hampton gave BJFF Vipers a 5-2 win.

There were five goals each for Taylor Joyce and Alex McLoughlin as Fleetwood Town beat Kirkham Blues 16-1 in the Hogan Cup first round.

Tyler Alunan also grabbed a hat trick and there were further goals for Dylan Alunan, Jamie Lopez-McGarvey and Matthew Tomlinson.

The game of the day in the Under-16 section saw leaders Lytham Juniors Home Heat play second-placed Poulton, and for the second time this season, they played out a 1-1 draw.

Poulton started the stronger of the two teams and Lytham took time to get into the game, with Poulton opening the scoring on the stroke of half time through Ryan Norman.

Lytham were much improved in the second half and they deservedly levelled the scores when Andy Ford calmly converted the best passing move of the game.

Lytham came close to snatching the winner on several occasions, but overall a draw was a fair result from two well matched teams. Daniel Pilling and Billy Gallagher were impressive for Lytham.

Goals from Aidan Preston (2), Matt Van Wyk and Lucas Kilgallon gave St Annes Greens a 4-3 win at Kirkham for whom Adam Parkinson, Will Critchley and Dom Pendleton replied.

In the Under-18 division, Conor Smith scored a brace and his namesake Connor Smith another, as Foxhall remain top with a 5-1 win at Staining. Harry Dale and Harry Fisher also scored and Joe Murray grabbed Staining’s consolation.
