Young striker Jamie Allen has pledged his future to Fleetwood Town, signing a new two year deal.
The contract keeps Allen at Highbury until 2015 – signalling the 17-year-old has a part to play in boss Graham Alexander’s new look squad.
A product of Fleetwood’s own youth system, Allen made a spectacular start to his Football League career, scoring within minutes of coming on as a second half substitute against Northampton Town.
That strike was voted Fleetwood’s goal of the season.
Injury cut short a run in the first team but Allen battled his way back, narrowly missing out on a place in the first team squad in the closing stages of the season.
