And for the coming season, home supporters will be able to buy season tickets for the South Stand behind the goal.

A club statement reads: “Safety is paramount for us and for you but so is entertainment and excitement. We want to offer that as well and we are sure that as a club our transfer window business has shown that Jim Bentley’s side will be competing right at the top of the league.

“We are continuing to work tirelessly with industry-leading experts to ensure supporter safety is the number one priority as we look to get you back to Mill Farm.

“These plans include a comprehensive seating plan, social-distancing guidelines involving signs and floor markings, as well expert technology allowing refreshments to be delivered to your seat as you enjoy the game. That means beer, wine and food can be consumed in seating and standing areas, without missing a kick or being in a queue.”

The club have introduced payment plans, enabling supporters to pay for season tickets in nine monthly instalments if they wish. Early bird discounts are available on season tickets bought this month and full price details are available on the club website.

They can be purchased from 9am on Wednesday via the club website or shop.

Manager Jim Benson, chief executive Jonty Castle and owner Haythornthwaite will be open to question on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at three fans’ forums in Churchill’s restaurant at Mill Farm from 6-8pm. Places can be reserved via the club website.
