AFC Fylde announce retained list for 2018/19 season

AFC Fylde have announced five players are to be released as part of their retained list for next season.

Challinor confident of keeping players at Fylde

Following talks with manager Dave Challinor, it has been confirmed Jason Taylor, Matt Blinkhorn, Josh Ezewele, Henry Jones and George Hassell are all to be let go.

Seven players are already tied down for next season. They include star striker Danny Rowe, goalkeeper Jay Lynch and midfielder Lewis Montrose.

The club have offered renewed terms to Andy Bond, Jack Muldoon, Josh Langley and Sam Finley.

Loan players Luke Burke, Jonny Smith, Callum Chettle, Sam Stubbs, Theo Roberts, Jake Lawlow and Mason Fawns have all returned to their parent clubs.

The Coasters have also confirmed they will face National League North side Curzon Ashton in a pre-season friendly this summer.

Challinor’s men will travel to the Tameside Stadium on Saturday, July 28 (3pm kick off).

The fixture will be their final warm-up game ahead of the new National League season.
