PREESALL boxer Jack Arnfield is set for a comeback fight on Saturday week at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens against experienced Midlander Kevin McCauley.

It will be Arnfield’s first bout since October 2009, when he extended his 100 per cent record to 12.

McCauley’s last contest was against Terry Carruthers in Birmingham last month, when he lost on points for the vacant British Masters middleweight title.

Arnfield will box on the same promotion as his friend Brian Rose, who defends his British light-middleweight belt against the only man to have beaten him, Max Maxwell.

Rose and Arnfield have been pounding the bleak Saddleworth Moors as part of their training regime.

Enzo Maccarinelli will challenge Shane McPhilbin for the British cruiserweight title in Wolverhampton tomorrow night.

The winner is likely to face Blackpool’s Matty Askin or Jon-Lewis Dickinson.

Those fighters square up at Oldham next month in an official eliminator.

Askin will be at the Wolverhampton venue to see the fight.

He has been asked by the BoxNation channel to act as a TV summariser.
