Saturday night’s battle of the big hitters - between Blackpool’s Matty Askin and champion Ovill McKenzie - is off, but only for the time being.
The duo were due to box in Widnes for the British and Commonwealth crruiserweight belts, but the bill has now been postponed.
The bout has been re-scheduled from the Cheshire venue to York Hall, Bethnal Green in the capital on March 27.
Askin is the current English cruiserweight champion, has not fought for the best part of a year.
His last bout was a successful defence against Menay Edwafrds at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens.
