There were a few Wesham Road Runners in the Morecambe 10k on Sunday.
Nigel Shepherd was the first to cross the finish line for 31st in 42.24.
Dave Waywell was 59th and second M65 in 46.45, just missing out on the top age-group prize by eight seconds.
Kath Hoyer was 10th woman and second W50 in 47.08, 61st overall.
Bob Thorn was third M65 and 68th in 48.01, Mark Pattinson 82nd in 48.44 as he recovers from his run in the Edinburgh Marathon, Stephen Wilkinson was fourth M55 and 97th in 50.06, and Lisa Whitlock 68th woman, 13th W45 and 204th in 67.16.
Alex Rowe was fifth in the first of this year’s Cuerden Valley 10k Badger Run over multi-terrain, clocking 39.15 for second M55 with the going wet and slippery in places.
Simon Eaton was 14th and fourth M40 in 41.53, and Charles Colby was 30th with 44.48.
Sarah Sherratt was second woman and first W40 in 45.19, and Alan Taylor was 43rd with 48.05.
Kath Hoyer was seventh woman and first W50 in 50.02, for 57th overall, Brian Jones was 63rd and fifth M50 in 51.36,Tracey Hulme 10th and second W45 in 52.02, and Sara Ward 11th and third W45 with 53.49.
The Wesham ladies team lost out by just one point to Red Rose Runners.
Michaela Dempsey ran the Chorley 4.4-mile trail race on Wednesday evening, finishing 11th woman and third W45 in 37.18, 51st overall.
Alan Taylor was the leading Wesham runner in the Jubilee 5k on Monday, coming in 25th with 22.29.
Peter Bartlett was second M60 and 34th overall in 23.07, Michaela Dempsey was 12th woman, first W45 and 58th in 24.52, while Paul Carter was 65th with 26.28.
Stephen Wilkinson took in the Ilkley Trail Race on Monday over 6.9 miles of scenic undulating woodland footpaths and moorland with 700ft of climb, finishing in 66.08 for 158th place.
